The Red Sea
From Sharm El Sheik, Hurghada, Dahab, our favourite spot for diving are El Queseir. Great beach dives and also jeep safaris. Not crowed by divers and beautiful healthy reefs.
Maldives
It took us many dives to finally see our first whale shark. At the right season you're guaranteed to see whale sharks and manta rays. The Maldives is the perfect destination for big fish lovers.
Vietnam
Despite the dynamite fishing, the area of Nha Trang has some very nice diving sites with lots of strange sea creatures to be seen.
Fiji
Holds some amazing dive sites depending on which island you dive, some dive sites can be easily dived and some others like the great wall can be a challenge at times. Good coral reefs and fish life, You must try the cava...
Australia
We dived and worked most of the Great barrier reef and the coral sea but just out of Townsville there is a wreck called the Yongala, which is our favourite site of the whole barrier reef. You can't really make out it is a ship anymore as it is incrusted with life. A good night dive aswell. Best way to see the barrier reef is to take a liveaboard.
Indonesia
From Bali to Irian Jaya through to Manado and Lembeh, Indonesia holds, one of the best diving in the world. Irian Jaya is probably one of the last frontier destination with untouched reefs, many species of fishes, rare creatures and aircraft wrecks, you should try and visit before it is too late. As we love small and bizarre creatures we enjoy our time in Lembeh strait off Manado where you will get plenty of frog fishes, leaf fishes, sea horses, etc... In Bali, we spent most of the time diving off the north coast beaches, perfect spot for big and small fish, very relaxing dives early morning and late afternoon. |
Malaysia
During the last four years Malaysia has been our home. We were running a busy dive school on the island of Tioman. With 80% virgin rainforest island off the east coast of the Malaysia Peninsular. There are very healthy coral reefs, good fish life and nudibranchs, the dive sites are suitable for most level of divers. Not far from Tioman the 2nd world war shipwrecks "Prince Of Whales" and "Repulse" can be reached by the Technical Divers. On Borneo, we recommend Kapalai, a beautiful water village and very well organised diving centre with a great house reef full of surprises especially for the macro! Sipadan and Mabul are just next door to it. |
Philippines
Has some wonderful diving depending what you want to see. Bohol has great reefs. In the south of the Philippines Palawan, if you're lucky you can spot dugongs. And Coron for wrecks, But our favourite dives were Anilao located south of Luzon island good for macro.
